Summary
The Coordinator for Community Resources is a key member of the Ministry and Community Outreach team providing supervision for community resources programs in care for the community. The coordinator is responsible for overseeing our programs that address food insecurity, reduce waste, and promote equity and abundance through sustainable practices. This multifaceted role coordinates a food pantry, urban garden, and thrift store while also cultivating leadership opportunities for volunteers, clients, and community members. This position works with internal and external stakeholders to uphold the university’s mission and core commitments.
Essential Functions
Address and minister to Food Access & Waste Reduction through coordination of the University Food Pantry
Plan and Implement Production and Programing for the Barry Urban Garden
Supervise and promote Thrift Store Operations
Support office/departmental operations
Qualifications/Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
1-3 years of related experience is required.
Advanced Microsoft Suite skills required.
Previous experience using Corq, GivePulse and Workday preferred.
Must be able to work occasional weekends/evenings.
Excellent oral and written skills.
