DescriptionThe PUPI Line Support Operator will work in any area of the PUPI Department and is responsible for all aspects of PUPI production to include, but not limited to, accurate cutting of beams and bushings, bushing placement, foam filling, cross arm cleanup, assembly and palletizing. In addition to the items mentioned above, this position is also responsible for producing product which meets all aspects of the PUPI Quality Program as well as ensuring the accuracy of outgoing orders. Will also help in any other area of the plant as needed. Available Shifts:Weekend Days | Friday- Sunday | 5:00 AM- 5:30 PM (+4 bonus hours if you work all 36 hours).Weekend Nights | Friday - Sunday | 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM (+1.00/hr shift premium AND +4 bonus hours if you work all 36 hours). Compensation:GEOTEK's compensation model is skill-based, and starting pay levels are determined by previous experience and transferable skills. The range for this position breaks down as follows:Level 1: $17.50 - $18.75Level 2: $18.75 - $20.00Level 3: $20.00 - $21.50Level 4: $21.50 - $22.50Hiring manager will determine pay level based off experience, skillset, and knowledge.Job Description:Responsible for PUPI product quality and accuracy of outgoing ordersFoam and/or assemble all necessary products that work orders call out in a timely manner, following all work instructionsUnderstand the drill specs and the necessary hardware for each applicationFoam and/or assemble and palletize product for shipment according to company standards and adhere to the Quality policy guidelinesClean the workstation and surrounding area and maintain an orderly workstationRecord necessary information on the work orders and submit daily as requiredFollow all safety rules and proceduresAssist with cycle counts as requestedReports to work prepared and on timeSupports the Mission of the organization and adheres to all company policiesPerforms other duties as directedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:High attention to detail, quality, productivity and safety requiredAbility to accurately count and record in production documentsAble to read and write the English languageMechanically-inclined and able to read a tape measureAble to work productively with minimal supervisionExcellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and problem solving skills are essentialPhysical Work Conditions:The position is located on the production floor, standing for up to 12 hours a day.Work with or around power tools and chemicals.Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
