Knowledge and Skills: Proven track record of developing scalable pipelines for design, prototyping, and testing processes and designing parts and assemblies using CAD tools like Creo Parametric, SolidWorks, and CATIA. Strong foundation in core mechanical engineering principles, including structural mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science. Proficiency in CAE tools for design simulation and analysis. Experience in rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing techniques. Knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) principles and machine tooling/fabrication techniques, including CNC machining and injection molding. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. Successful track record of managing engineering teams. Strong project management skills, including timeline development, resource allocation, and risk assessment, with a track record of leading projects from concept through production. Flexibility to attend virtual meetings with the Taiwan-based team at least three nights per week and travel to Taipei as much as once per quarter for team collaboration and project needs. Willingness to work in an office at least three days per week. Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Required Qualification
