Base pay range

$200,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr

Compensation: $150k–$300k base + 0.5%–2.0% equity (Depending on experience)

This role is at an elite AI startup building next-generation video foundation models. The role holder will be an elite researchers on frontier models in order to lead cutting-edge research and model training at scale, shaping the future of generative video technology.

Core Responsibilities

• Train large-scale video diffusion transformer models across 100s of GPUs
• Curate, clean, and label internet-scale video datasets
• Research and prototype ideas from state-of-the-art literature (e.g., arXiv)
• Build and fine-tune LoRAs for feature extension

Requirements

• Advanced Python & PyTorch skills
• Proven experience with visual data preparation and labeling
• Hands-on with diffusion models and/or vision transformers
• Familiar with Linux clusters, scripting, and GPU environments
• Strong academic or industry pedigree (PhD, top-tier company, OSS contributor)
• Deep interest in generative video AI and staying ahead of the curve
• Stable career history (no chronic job-hopping)

Preferred (Not Essential)

• Knowledge of VAEs, GANs, video compression, perceptual metrics
• Strong publication record
