WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Play a key role in overseeing the general ledger and supporting accurate and timely financial reporting. This individual will lead portions of the monthly close process, ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies, and help integrate acquisitions into the company’s accounting infrastructure. Report to the Corporate Controller and work cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and M&A integration teams. Manage the monthly and quarterly close processes for corporate and select business units. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions. Ensure financial statements are complete, accurate, and in accordance with US GAAP. Assist with acquisition integration including purchase accounting and accounting policy alignment.
Background That Fits
Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA strongly preferred. 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or manager role. Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting. Experience in a multi-entity or multi-location business environment. Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.). Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Seniority level
