To better support our Finance Department and accommodate the anticipated doubling of our portfolio over the next few years, Westcore is seeking a well-rounded Corporate FP&A Analyst or Senior FP&A Analyst .
Position Summary
This position will focus on real estate corporate finance, asset management, and investor reporting, with leadership and mentorship responsibilities. Key tasks include providing investment analysis and valuations of current properties, leading the budget and reforecast processes, maintaining cash flow models of company assets, and preparing investor reports on fund performance for our capital partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and quantitative background, polished communication skills, and a desire to grow expertise in real estate finance.
Core Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide investment analysis for assets under management by maintaining property cash flow models in Argus and evaluating the financial impact of strategic decisions at both property and company levels.
- Lead the company’s budget and reforecast process, coordinating with all departments to project future revenue and capital needs, and report performance at property and investor levels.
- Manage quarterly valuation models of company assets using discounted cash flow methods and Argus.
- Present financial performance insights to internal stakeholders.
PRIMARY DUTIES: (Priorities may change daily)
- Respond to capital partner requests regarding property cash flows, capital needs, and valuations.
- Support the preparation of investor reports, including monthly and quarterly deliverables and board materials.
- Analyze leasing and capital expenditure decisions.
- Provide internal reporting to operations, offering transparency on property assumptions and performance.
- Create portfolio snapshots and monthly dashboards for executive review.
- Update property cash flows in Argus to reflect strategic decisions.
- Assist with onboarding new acquisitions through property-level reporting.
- Track and analyze historical asset performance, update financial models, and present KPIs to the executive team, making recommendations to maximize returns.
Desired Skills And Experience
- BA/BS in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Math, or related field.
- Graduate degree, CFA, or CPA is a plus.
- Proficiency in Argus Enterprise and Excel preferred.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager, Elevate, and Power BI is advantageous.
- 2-3+ years in commercial real estate, investment management, and financial analysis.
