They develop strategies to achieve KPIs and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and accountability. They support the Store Manager and assume primary duties when the Store Manager is absent. Job Description Cosmo Prof Job Title: Assistant Manager Essential Function Assistant Store Managers hire, develop, and lead store associates, ensuring excellent customer experiences, managing store operations, and maintaining brand standards. They strategize to meet KPIs and financial goals, support the Store Manager, and handle primary duties in their absence. Primary Duties 30% Brand:
Supervise and support associates in delivering exceptional client experiences, maximizing sales/KPIs, and fostering customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards are met, including merchandising, marketing, and dress code. Resolve customer issues and analyze store trends. 30% People:
Engage, train, and develop team members, recruit externally, identify strengths and opportunities, and maintain positive relations. Communicate regularly with the team and foster diversity and inclusion. 30% Operations:
Execute company processes, manage inventory, payroll, and store procedures. Support digital strategies like Omni-channel fulfillment. 10% Safety/Loss Prevention:
Maintain a safe environment, protect assets, and ensure compliance with safety and inventory policies. Knowledge, Skills/Abilities And Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Must be 18 or older Preferred 3+ years retail/customer service experience Preferred 1+ year management experience Ability to lead and support teams, communicate effectively, and meet scheduling needs Cosmetology license is a plus but not required Competencies Passionate Learner Flexible and Agile Talent Builder Effective Communicator Team Builder Customer Focused Results Driven Strategic Thinker Big Picture Thinker Problem Solver & Decision Maker Working Conditions Physical activity includes standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working in various environments.
