Buckhead Meat . This position is responsible for assisting the credit manager with the efficient and effective operation of the accounts receivable department. Responsibilities
Processes credit applications following FreshPoint and Sysco policy. Monitors branch locations' accounts receivable (AR) and assists AR associates in rectifying difficult accounts. Initiates collection calls as needed to keep customers within terms. Enforces all corporate credit policies. Assists the credit manager in supervising and developing AR associates. Ensures compliance with all State and Federal accounts receivable regulations. Qualifications
Education
High school diploma; 2 years of secondary education in a relevant discipline preferred. Experience
2 years of accounts receivable experience and 2 years of intensive collection experience. Professional Skills
Strong 10-key skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of AS400 system is a plus. Decision-Making Authority
Most decisions are made independently, such as providing credit terms to customers. Decisions requiring review include turning delinquent accounts over to collections. Reporting Line
Reports to the credit manager. Position Level
