Job Title:
Elementary School Support Staff (Crossing Guard, Cafeteria Monitor & Aide)

Full-Time, Monday through Friday Hours:
7:45 AM - 4:30 PM (Includes 1-hour lunch break)
Position Summary: We are seeking a flexible, dependable, and patient individual to join our elementary school team serving Kindergarten through 5th grade students. This multifaceted role combines duties as a crossing guard, cafeteria monitor, and various aide responsibilities possibly including inclusion aide, resource aide, and in-school suspension aide.
Key Responsibilities: Crossing Guard (7:45 - 8:20 AM & 4:00 - 4:30 PM):
Ensure safe student crossings along Beauchamp Blvd until all students have safely crossed, following traffic safety laws. Cafeteria Monitor:
Supervise all 6 lunch periods to manage student behavior calmly and consistently. Assist students with opening containers and provide timely restroom breaks. Prepare the cafeteria before lunch periods and ensure it is clean before taking a lunch break. Support general cleaning of tables and maintain a safe, orderly environment.
Aide Duties:
Provide support as needed in roles such as inclusion aide, resource aide, and in-school suspension aide, adapting to the needs of students and staff.
Qualifications and Skills: Must have a valid driver's license and own a vehicle. Strong understanding of traffic safety and laws. Ability to work in loud environments for extended periods with patience and composure. Flexible, easy-going, and solution-oriented mindset. Ability to remain consistent and helpful despite challenging student behaviors. Self-starter and team player with a positive attitude.
Benefits: Full-time hours with a 1-hour lunch break. Contracted less than 180 days, exempting from additional workdays.
