Position Summary
The Customer-Focused Co-Project Manager will lead stakeholder engagement, change management, and system adoption activities for the implementation of the Colorado Department of Transportation's (CDOT) Grants Management System (GMS). This role will interface directly with CDOT grant managers, subrecipients, and external partners to ensure a user-centered, accessible experience aligned with compliance and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison between CDOT's grant program managers, subrecipients, and external partners. Oversee stakeholder engagement, training development, and change management. Manage system adoption strategies and support services including helpdesk and documentation. Coordinate live and self-paced training modules with ADA compliance in mind.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in Government IT projects Minimum of 5 years of experience in government grantmaking, with direct grantee engagement. Minimum of 5 years of experience in training development using video, audio, and digital platforms for technology adoption.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with state or federal agencies on system implementations. Familiarity with the Federal Uniform Grant Guidance and the Colorado Procurement Code. PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is a plus.
Key Competencies
Strong communication and stakeholder management. Change management and end-user training delivery. Strategic planning and collaborative decision-making.
Other Requirements
Must participate in biweekly status meetings and provide monthly updates. Ability to travel occasionally for onsite meetings or training sessions.
Work Location:
This position is hybrid with periodic onsite attendance in Denver, Colorado offices will be required
