The Manager of Systems Integration will be responsible for a team of Systems Integration Managers and Engineers, driving the execution of solution types in the North American region. This position can be located at any of our field offices across North America, with preferences for major offices in Wauwatosa, WI, Grand Rapids, MI, or Plano, TX. This is What you Will Do in This Role: Guide projects as System Integration manager from project handover to customer acceptance, ensuring design integrity, functionality, throughput, and availability as per contract. Create and execute project acceptance test plans. Define and lead integration strategies during all project phases. Ensure KPIs for quality and delivery are met, proactively addressing roadblocks. Promote compliance through open communication and empower team members to raise concerns. Develop repeatable processes and documentation as programs mature. Participate in pre-sale technical reviews with Sales & Solution Development, ensuring technical and cost accuracy. Financial Manage short-term monthly forecasts for assigned projects. Contribute to department financial planning and tracking. Ensure staffing aligns with current and future workload. People Leadership Lead by example, embodying KION's values and leadership principles. Assess and assign workloads. Identify and facilitate training to bridge skill gaps and develop talent. Support talent development through regular engagement, coaching, and training programs. Maintain open communication via one-on-one meetings, team discussions, and feedback mechanisms to support career development and performance. What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, Software, Industrial, etc.); advanced degree preferred. At least 8 years of relevant experience. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience. Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction across all levels. Customer-facing skills. Willingness to travel to project sites, customer meetings, and support pre-sales activities.
