Job Description:
5NINE Data Solutions is seeking an experienced
Palo Alto Technical Architect
to support a Suffolk County government engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and optimizing firewall configurations and delivering updated documentation and diagrams.
Responsibilities:
Assess and optimize existing
Palo Alto firewall policies Review interface configurations and logical segmentation Validate and redesign firewall zones and trust boundaries Develop detailed documentation and network diagrams Work closely with Suffolk County IT leadership and engineers
Requirements:
8+ years of enterprise network/security architecture experience Strong hands-on experience with
Palo Alto Networks
(PCNSE preferred) Familiarity with VLANs, VRs, interface configs, and segmentation Proficiency in Visio or other diagramming tools Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
