M.C. Dean is seeking to hire a Cyber Security Specialist 3 to support the CIM Business Unit. The candidate will be required to travel to CONUS and OCONUS Government and Commercial facilities to support the development and implementation of the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. Location
Onsite at JBAB Responsibilities
Conduct ICS/SCADA system inventories following guidance including, but not limited to U.S. Army ICS Inventory Methodology and UFC 401006, Cybersecurity of FacilityRelated Control Systems. Assist in the development and verification of documentation necessary to complete the DoD RMF assessment and authorization process. Implement DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) on traditional IT and OT systems. Conduct vulnerability scanning and document system vulnerabilities. Work in a team environment alongside other cybersecurity engineers and RMF analysts. Required Education & Experience
Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph clearance is required. 3+ Years of Experience with a Master's Degree in relevant fields 5+ Years of Experience with a Bachelor's Degree 8+ Years of Experience with an Associate's Degree 11+ Years with a High School Diploma Ability to operate application software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Meet DoD 8570.01 and DoD 8570M requirements for IAM Level 2, IAT Level 2, or IASAE Level 2. Documented training in network infrastructure (Cisco), Microsoft Windows. Experience with government and commercial cybersecurity projects on industrial control systems. Additional Preferred Qualifications
5+ years designing ICS platforms and systems. Preferred: DoDD 8570.01 and DoD 8570M Level 3 certifications. Familiarity with ICS products and security assessment tools. Experience with STIGs, SRR tools, scripts, OVAL Benchmarks, ACAS, Wireshark. Deep understanding of DoD RMF lifecycle and NIST 80053 controls. Strong communication skills, ability to coordinate with teams and support multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of HMI, control network components, and ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. Operational control systems knowledge, including protocols like Modbus, IEC 608705101/104, IEC 61850, DNP3. Awareness of NIST SP 80082 and UFC 401006. Possession of certifications like CISSP, CEH, CSSA is preferred. Abilities
