At Jim 'N Nick’s BBQ, we take pride in serving authentic, slow-smoked barbecue while fostering a welcoming and secure environment for our guests and team members. With 54 locations and growing rapidly, we are expanding our IT infrastructure and security capabilities to support our restaurant operations. We are looking for a IT Security Manager with 8+ years of experience to help secure our digital and physical systems across all locations. Based in our Atlanta, GA office, this role combines cybersecurity, system administration, and physical security, ensuring that our restaurants, data, and IT infrastructure remain protected as we continue to grow. This is a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to implement security measures, respond to incidents, and enhance the overall security posture of our expanding organization. Duties & Responsibilities Essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: Cybersecurity & Threat Management • Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats across all Jim 'N Nick’s locations and corporate infrastructure. • Implement, manage, and optimize endpoint protection solutions. • Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits. • Investigate security incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and coordinate incident response plans to mitigate risks. • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices to safeguard guests ,employees and company data. • Implement data loss prevention (DLP) policies and improve overall risk posture. System Administration & IT Security • Administer and secure IT infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers. • Manage network security solutions, ensuring firewalls, VPNs, and access controls are configured properly. • Perform routine security updates, patches, and system hardening across enterprise assets. • Support restaurant IT systems, including guest Wi-Fi, back-office environments, and cloud-based applications. • Optimize and maintain identity and access management (IAM) solutions. Physical Security & Restaurant Operations Support. • Oversee and maintain CCTV surveillance systems across all restaurant locations and corporate offices. • Manage and optimize burglar alarm systems, ensuring seamless integration with IT security infrastructure. • Collaborate with restaurant operations, facilities teams, and external security vendors to enhance physical security and access control measures. • Ensure data retention and security policies are followed for video surveillance and alarm systems. Security Awareness, Compliance & Governance • Conduct security awareness training for corporate employees and restaurant teams. • Develop and implement security compliance programs aligned with PCI DSS, NIST, ISO 27001, and other industry standards. • Support third-party security audits and assist in security documentation/reporting. • Maintain incident response plans (IRPs), disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity (BC) strategies. Qualifications and Experience Required: • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, system administration, and physical security management. • Strong expertise in Windows and Linux system administration. • Hands-on experience managing CCTV surveillance and burglar alarm systems. • Knowledge of firewalls, SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions. • Experience securing multi-location businesses (hospitality, restaurant, or retail industry preferred). • Deep understanding of PCI DSS compliance and best practices for securing payment transactions and guest data. • Experience managing security logging, monitoring, and vulnerability management tools. • Ability to lead incident response efforts and forensic investigations. Preferred: • Experience with Cisco Meraki network security (firewalls, VPNs, access control). • Familiarity with Darktrace for email & endpoint security. • Proficiency in Windows Defender Security Center and Microsoft 365 security tools. • Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, CCSP, or GCIA. • Experience with cloud security (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and Zero Trust architectures.
