Essential Functions of Employment with DLO:
Show up for work, on time & prepared each scheduled workday.
Perform all assigned tasks and processes, including those you are qualified for and over-qualified for.
Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with teammates daily.
Main Duties: The System Analyst will assist in developing, supporting, and rolling out the functionality of Epic Beaker. Responsibilities include:
Participating in Epic Beaker application design and validation sessions.
Supporting Epic upgrades, including build, testing, and post-upgrade support.
Designing and implementing future workflows in Epic, analyzing needs, and translating them into system design.
Building and validating applications to meet workflow requirements.
Populating master tables and system files following guidelines.
Testing structured processes and documenting results.
Collaborating with trainers to develop role-based training programs.
Training and supporting end users.
Reviewing and testing new builds and releases.
Maintaining knowledge of IT systems, design, and software/hardware.
Maintaining Epic and Safetrace certifications and completing Epic new version training.
Responsibilities: Required Knowledge:
Experience managing the launch of new systems and applications across business units.
Ability to integrate diverse systems, processes, or procedures.
Knowledge of Epic applications, laboratory testing, HL7 interfaces, data migration, Epic Order Transmittal, Haemonetics Safetrace, Instrument Manager, and printer configurations.
Required Experience:
High School Diploma with 1-2 years of relevant IT experience.
Experience with healthcare software and applications.
Knowledge of clinical and financial practices.
Epic Beaker CP certification required within 3 months of hire; Epic Order Transmittal and Data Courier certifications preferred.
Qualifications and Special Requirements:
Willingness to be on call.
Willingness to travel for certifications, site visits, installations, troubleshooting, and support.
