Commercial Electrical Estimator

We’re working with a
steadily
growing, already established electrical contractor
based in Tennessee that is expanding into the
commercial market . They’re searching for an ambitious estimator who is ready to take ownership, lead from the front, and help lay the foundation for long-term success.
What You'll Do
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial electrical projects (new construction, renovations, and tenant build-outs) Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other bid documents Work closely with company leadership to define workflows, tools, and strategies for the estimating function Build relationships with general contractors, vendors, and internal teams Help develop and refine the company’s commercial estimating process from scratch Collaborate with the project management team post-award for successful project handoff

What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience estimating commercial electrical projects Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction methods Familiarity with estimating software Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and take initiative Entrepreneurial mindset - you’re not just looking to do estimates, but to build something
