Business Analyst - Technical SR-5215584 - CIPRS Support Company:
Sansar Tec, LLC Contract Details:
Full time, permanent position This is a remote position for the State of Louisiana for 2 Business Analyst positions. The successful candidates will support the Department of Corrections Information Program and Records System (CIPRS). Responsibilities: Support resource for data migration and conversion activities; Documenting business processes and requirements around data conversion approaches; Translate requirements into functional and technical designs, including implementing stories and process flows; Recommend eliminating, retaining, or enhancing business processes and documenting those results.
Mandatory Expertise: Four (4) years experience in data migration, cleansing and conversion projects; Three (3) years experience in data analysis using SQL queries to assist with the technical design effort, data cleansing effort and resolution of bugs/defects; Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical designs; Ability to create complex SQL queries.
Desirable Expertise: Experience with Corrections processes; Ability to understand complex business problems; Understanding of data conversion challenges and troubleshoot issues; Understanding of the underlying technical architecture and legacy systems; Understanding of database platforms and database design.
