Job Description Data Engineer San Jose, CA 3+ years (with possibility of extension) Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in Java, Python, and Scala Experience with Spark and Machine Learning (3+ years) Responsibilities: Gather and process raw data at scale, including scripting, web scraping, API calls, and SQL queries Collaborate with engineering team to integrate and build algorithms Process unstructured data for analysis and perform analysis Support business decisions with ad hoc analysis Extract, manipulate, and explore data from relational databases using statistical and visualization tools Select appropriate modeling techniques and develop predictive models with rigorous statistical processes Maintain processes for validating and updating models Analyze and forecast health service utilization patterns and model outcomes of scenarios Collaborate with business and analytics partners to improve predictive models Perform statistical analysis to prioritize efforts and identify improvement areas Conduct strategic data analysis to support business needs Identify opportunities to improve productivity through statistical modeling Explore data to enhance business results Understand business processes, goals, and strategies to inform analysis Note: This job posting is active and not expired. #J-18808-Ljbffr
