The HT Group islooking for a
Project Manager (non-IT)
to lead a Product Profitability Initiative aimed at transforming manual, Excel-based financial reporting into scalable, system-driven solutions. This cross-functional role will coordinate efforts across Finance, Accounting, and Enterprise Data teams to improve reporting accuracy, enhance data quality, and boost operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong project planning and execution skills, drive alignment among diverse stakeholders, and maintain accountability throughout the project lifecycle. 6-month contract, ASAP Start Full-time (On-site) 40 hours/week - Austin, TX Key Responsibilities Drive process improvement initiatives, transitioning from manual workflows to integrated tools (Anaplan, NetSuite, Snowflake, Power BI) Promote change adoption across departments and maintain comprehensive documentation for long-term continuity Coordinate efforts between Finance, Accounting, and Data teams; deliver clear, actionable project updates to leadership and key stakeholders Lead project execution, manage timelines, dependencies, and deliverables, and proactively address blockers and risks Qualifications
8–10 years of project management experience, ideally within Finance, FP&A, or Data Analytics environments Familiarity with financial systems such as Anaplan, NetSuite, Power BI, and Snowflake Experience with project and collaboration tools (e.g., Mavenlink, JIRA, Salesforce); proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint Bachelor’s degree required; PMP certification preferred Consulting or contract experience is a plus Demonstrated ability to deliver business transformation projects Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
