The role of Senior GenAI Data Scientist involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement AI solutions, leveraging generative AI and large language models to enhance tax functions and improve operational efficiencies. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to understand requirements, refine models, and integrate LLMs into AI solutions. • Incorporate RLHF and advanced techniques for tax-specific AI outputs. • Embed generative AI solutions into consolidation, reconciliation, and reporting processes. • Leverage LLMs to interpret unstructured tax documentation. • Development and implementation of Deep learning algorithms for AI solutions. • Stay updated with recent trends in GENAI and apply the latest research and techniques to projects. • Preprocess raw data, including text normalization, tokenization, and other techniques, to make it suitable for use with NLP models. • Setup and train large language models and other state-of-the-art neural networks. • Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of model implementations. • Perform statistical analysis of results and optimize model performance for various computational environments, including cloud and edge computing platforms. • Explore and propose innovative AI use cases to enhance tax functions. • Partner with tax, finance, and IT teams to integrate AI workflows. • Collaborate with legal teams to meet regulatory standards for tax data. • Perform model audits to identify and mitigate risks. • Monitor and optimize generative models for performance and scalability. Qualifications: Required: • Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 - 3 days per week. • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant discipline. • 3+ years of experience showcasing programming skills in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and related libraries. • Demonstrated understanding of object-oriented design patterns, concurrency/multithreading, and scalable AI and GenAI model deployment. • Proficiency in RegEx, Spacy, NLTK, and NLP techniques for text representation and semantic extraction. • Hands-on experience in developing, training, and fine-tuning LLMs and AI models. • Proven expertise in Prompt Engineering techniques and various vector databases. • Ability to travel up to 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. • One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain: Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, Technology Certifications: Alteryx Designer- Advanced Certification, ASQ - American Society for Quality - Software Quality Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CBAP - Certified Business Analysis Professional, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, Certified SAFe Agile Software Engineer, Certified SAFe Agilist, Certified SAFe Architect, Certified SAFe DevOps Practitioner, Certified SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager, Certified SAFe Practitioner, Certified SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager, Certified SAFe Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Developer (CSD), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) - (ISC)2, IASA's Certified IT Architect (CITA) (Level F or A), ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board), ITIL Certification, Java: Java EE Enterprise Architect 5+, Java SE 5+ Programmer, Java EE 5+ Web Component Developer, Lifecycle Management and Advanced Functional Testing Certifications (HP), MCSD: Application Lifecycle Management Solutions Developer, MCSD: SharePoint, MCSD: Web Applications, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Microsoft MCSD Certification, Open Group Certified Architect (Open CA), Open Group Certified IT Specialist (Open CITS), Oracle Certified Professional, Professional Scrum Developer (PSD), Professional Scrum Product Owner(PSCPO) - SCRUM.org, Program Management Professional (PgMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), QAI Global Institute Certification, SEI - Software Engineering Institute Certification, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), UI or UX Master Certification.
