JOB SUMMARY: Envista is seeking a talented and innovative
Sr. Data Scientist
to join our IT Data & Analytics team. This role requires providing strategic direction on how AI and ML can be utilized to optimize various departmental needs. The Sr. Data Scientist will work closely with stakeholders using an agile framework to plan, design, and execute projects leveraging AI and ML technologies. The role involves developing strategic capabilities in AI/ML, designing and implementing strategies, and partnering with cross-functional teams to build operational AI/ML capabilities. The candidate should stay current with advancements in machine learning and be able to frame business questions from a data science perspective, deriving data-driven solutions. Responsibilities include designing advanced models in statistical analysis, bioinformatics, data automation, data mining, machine learning, and data visualization. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Lead development and implementation of AI, ML, and Generative AI solutions to automate business processes. Collaborate with Commercial teams to enhance sales and marketing strategies. Work with G&A functions to identify opportunities for process improvement through data solutions. Manage the full lifecycle of machine learning models. Utilize tools such as Databricks, Python, Snowflake, and Tableau for data analysis and modeling. Stay updated with latest AI/ML advancements and apply them at Envista. Maintain documentation for data science processes and models. Provide training and support on AI and ML technologies. Build an AI community within Envista to share best practices and drive adoption. Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience in AI, ML, and Generative AI OR Masters degree with 10+ years of experience OR PhD with 6+ years of experience in advanced analytics teams. Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL. Experience with data tools like Databricks, Snowflake, and Tableau. Experience operationalizing algorithms into production systems. Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Target Market Salary Range:
$96,300 - $178,900. Compensation includes base salary, bonuses, benefits, and other plans. Operating Company:
