but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed. We are looking for a seasoned and visionary Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our Business Data Cloud (BDC) Foundation Services. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the core runtimes and foundational services that power the entire BDC portfolio, including Data Products, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Databricks, and Master Data Management (MDM). You will work across a wide matrix of product lines, aligning closely with leaders across AI, SAP Datasphere, SAC, MDM, Catalog, Marketplace, and Ecosystem to shape a cohesive, scalable, and AI-first product foundation that accelerates our Line-of-Business-centric intelligent applications roadmap. This role requires a unique combination of deep technical expertise, organizational leadership, strategic vision, and operational excellence. Strategic Leadership
Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for the BDC Foundation Services, supporting all LOB applications in alignment with SAP's "Suite First" and "AI First" vision. Define a prioritized and cohesive roadmap across core runtimes and foundational services to ensure platform readiness for AI innovation and industry-specific requirements. Collaborate with Product Management and Development leadership to deliver a tightly aligned, semester-based plan that drives measurable adoption and business impact. Cross-Functional Alignment & Delivery
Partner with Product and Engineering leads across SAC, SAP Datasphere, AI, Cockpit, Catalog, Marketplace, and other key BDC components to drive unified delivery and architectural consistency. Navigate complex, multi-layered technical and organizational landscapes, ensuring alignment across SAP LOBs, central product architecture, and cloud platform teams. Team Leadership
Hold both functional and disciplinary responsibility for leading and growing a high-performing Product Management team, fostering a culture of ownership, customer obsession, and excellence. Coach the team with a strong emphasis on persona-centric product thinking and iterative delivery. Drive strong collaboration between Product, UX, Architecture, and Engineering functions to ensure delivery of high-value, scalable foundation services. Platform & Product Excellence
Combine customer and market insight with deep technical understanding to define platform requirements that scale across LOB use cases. Balance inbound (technical delivery, execution) and outbound (positioning, partner engagement) product responsibilities to ensure relevance, adoption, and competitive differentiation. Establish metrics and feedback loops to drive data-informed decisions and continuous product improvement. Qualifications
1520+ years of product management experience in enterprise software, with a strong focus on data, analytics, and AI platforms. Proven track record of building and scaling world-class product teams, with deep experience in cloud-native data and analytics architectures. Experience managing and mentoring large PM organizations (1520+ team members) across complex, global environments. Demonstrated success in delivering platform products at scale, driving adoption and consumption across diverse customer bases. Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to align and influence across organizational silos and legacy architectures. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field; MBA is a plus. Hands-on background in development, professional services, or pre-sales highly desirable. Expertise in combining strategic vision with executional excellence; from market-driven strategy and storytelling to driving measurable product outcomes.
