The dean must be committed to enhancing the undergraduate student experience, ensuring all students have a transformative educational experience aligned with Babson’s mission to prepare entrepreneurial leaders who create, grow, and steward sustainable economic and social value globally. The dean will build upon Babson’s strong history of teaching excellence and its integration of theory and practice, which has established it as a leader in innovative education. The curriculum emphasizes “Entrepreneurial Thought and Action,” a methodology that combines action, experimentation, and creativity with business concepts, analysis, and a broad general education. A key strength is the depth of liberal arts, sciences, and quantitative courses, with students taking classes across arts, sciences, humanities, and social sciences throughout their four-year program. Students can choose from over 26 concentrations within the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree. The undergraduate program’s combination of fundamental business skills, liberal arts education, and entrepreneurial mindset prepares students for impactful careers and contributes to strong outcomes, ranking Babson No. 2 in the Wall Street Journal’s 2025 Best Colleges in America. Reporting to the provost and serving on the President’s Council, the dean will provide strategic and operational leadership for undergraduate programs, ensuring an innovative and inclusive academic and student experience. Responsibilities include defining and advancing the vision for undergraduate education, fostering academic excellence, and enhancing Babson’s reputation as a global leader in entrepreneurial education. The dean will lead curricular development, innovation, and develop strategic partnerships to enrich the undergraduate experience and shape the future curriculum.
