Delivery Associate/Driver With JPZ Logistics LLC
Become a DELIVERY ASSOCIATE/DRIVER with JPZ Logistics LLC! JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Delivery Associate/Driver, you'll be the welcoming face of our company. Your role is to go beyond just delivering orders - it's about ensuring every customer interaction leaves a positive impression. That means timely, safe deliveries with a smile, ensuring each order reaches its destination accurately. JPZ Logistics prioritizes health and safety above all else, involving our Delivery Associates as key partners in this journey. We're excited to offer on-the-job training, ensuring every member of our team feels empowered and confident both on the road and at customers' doorsteps. Currently, we are looking to fill full-time driving positions in Iowa City, Iowa. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Have a positive can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment Load vans and deliver packages by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle, walking upstairs and through driveways in all weather conditions, and delivering packages safely and punctually. You can expect to work about 4-5 days per week and up to 10 hours per day. Follow strict safety standards on and off the road. Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Be 21 years or older with the ability to read and speak English, for safety. Be physically able to handle getting in and out of a vehicle throughout the day Be punctual and have excellent time management skills Have a valid driver's license. A Commercial driver's license (CDL) is NOT required. Be able to operate and navigate a delivery van weighing 10,000 lbs. or less. You do NOT need to provide your own vehicle. Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation. Additional Information: All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
