The Morris County Vocational School District, has an opening for an hourly, as needed Work-Based Learning Coordinator/Cooperative Education Coordinator located at the Sussex County Vocational School District with anticipated program dates beginning on or about September 1, 2025 and ending on June 15, 2026. Estimated Eight (8) Hours per week.
Terms Of Employment
Additional information: Actual hours may vary based upon the partner districts student participation. Duration is contingent upon continued relationship with the partner districts needs. This position will be under the direction of the Morris County Vocational Schools Director of CTE and in conjunction with a designee from Sussex County Vocational School District.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid New Jersey Cooperative Education Coordinator/Hazardous Occupations Endorsement Code #3464
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Work-Based Learning Coordinator
• ?Knowledge of Career and Technical Education and career-ready practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Confidence using technology tools to enhance productivity/efficiency in an educational setting
  

• Collaboration with the technical school staff and students (i.e. meetings, phone calls, e-mail) that have pertinent information as it relates to the students and their placement
• Job development on an as needed basis for placement purposes
• Coordination and supervision of Structured Learning Experiences. Cooperative Education Experiences Hazardous and Non-Hazardous as per New Jersey State Department of Education guidelines including site inspections and follow along
• Completion and collection of required SLE / Cooperative Education paperwork for students placed in the community through the Cooperative Education Program
• Collaboration with the employer through follow-up visits and e-mail or phone as it relates to the students placements
  

• WBL Coordinator Consultants individual salaried hourly rate in accordance with the terms of the agreement on file with the Sussex County Vocational School District
