Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a
Board Certified Ob/Gyn Physician
to join as the
Director of Ob/Gyn Quality & Safety . This role involves inpatient and outpatient clinical duties, along with administrative and leadership responsibilities.

Highlights include: Collaborate with the Chief of Ob/Gyn, Medical Director of Labor & Delivery, Division Directors, and the Medical Director of the Ob/Gyn clinic to advance women's health initiatives. Oversee quality assurance and improvement initiatives. Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and advanced practice providers to implement quality improvement, evidence-based practices, and clinical guidelines. Develop strategic and tactical plans to enhance patient safety and service efficiency. NewYork-Presbyterian Queens , located in Flushing, NY, is a community teaching hospital serving a diverse population. It is a 535-bed tertiary facility affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College, offering comprehensive medical and surgical services, including 24/7 obstetric coverage, multiple labor and delivery rooms, operating rooms, and a state-of-the-art postpartum floor. The team includes physicians, PAs, experienced nurses, and residents. Queens, home to Flushing Meadows Park, hosts the NY Mets and US Open. Known for its diversity, Queens offers a variety of culinary, cultural, and recreational activities, including Astoria's Greek cuisine, Flushing's Asian food, Socrates Sculpture Park, Queens Botanical Garden, and Rockaway Beach. The salary range for this position is $280,000 to $400,000. This range does not include benefits or incentive payments based on quality and productivity. The successful candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College, with rank commensurate with experience and credentials.
