The Freelance Technical Manager (TM) will support BMG Remote Productions by managing pre-deployment of equipment, overseeing on-site crew, ensuring quality control, and coordinating logistics. The role involves extensive travel, working weekends and holidays, and managing live multi-camera productions. Responsibilities
Serve as Lead Tech Manager for assigned productions. Manage all technical aspects on location, ensuring a positive experience for clients and vendors. Coordinate equipment deployment, testing, packing, and return logistics. Oversee on-site crew schedules, responsibilities, and quality control. Communicate with clients, crew, talent, and production staff. Troubleshoot issues proactively and support show operations from start to finish. Requirements
5+ years of relevant live broadcast remote production experience. Experience in technical management, project management, and team leadership. At least 2 years working in remote production or on production trucks. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs. Additional Details
