Join HNTB as a Bridge Project Manager I!
Our offices have a rich history of delivering transportation projects for clients like TxDOT, ARDOT, DART, NTTA, and major airports in Dallas/Fort Worth and Little Rock. Our diverse team of 125+ professionals across Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, and Little Rock fosters an inclusive culture. What You'll Do:
Develop project scope and fee quotations; assist in preparing technical proposals and contracts following HNTB's Sophisticated Contracting Approach (SCA).
Serve as the primary client liaison; manage project teams to deliver scope, schedule, and budget; assist with project scoping and contract negotiations.
Perform technical tasks including analysis, reports, design, specifications, and production for assigned projects.
Implement the firm’s project delivery plan using HNTB's Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA); lead development and execution of project management plans; supervise and mentor team members.
Coordinate staffing, recruitment, development, retention, and performance reviews of project staff.
Partner with Client Service Leaders to support business development, build client relationships, and pursue strategic projects; prepare proposals and presentations; lead industry and community presentations.
Oversee staff recruitment, hiring, development, retention, and succession planning.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.
2 years of task management or Deputy PM experience.
What You'll Bring:
Experience as Project Manager on bridge design and rehab projects, managing scope, schedule, staffing, and budget.
Successful delivery of projects with on-time, on-budget, quality, and client satisfaction (4for4); risk and change management skills.
Leadership of multidisciplinary teams across multiple projects.
Experience mentoring and developing design staff.
Ability to use system tools to manage projects and monitor progress.
Support from Office Management Team to implement HNTB’s processes.
Technical guidance skills and ability to perform portions of technical work.
What We Prefer:
TxDOT or ArDOT Bridge Design/Management experience.
Master’s degree in Engineering.
10 years of relevant experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Experience coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies in Texas or Arkansas.
