Deputy Project Manager - High-Speed Rail Contract Type:
Permanent Business Line Specific Context: Under the general direction of the Supervising Transportation Engineer, the Licensed Engineer will serve as the Deputy Project Manager for the California High-Speed Rail project. This role involves overseeing technical designs for engineering documents and ensuring compliance with relevant policies, laws, and regulations. The Deputy Project Manager will manage tasks within the design contract, coordinate utility and local facility relocations, and oversee technical design, quality assurance, and contract management activities. The role requires providing technical support, analyzing contractual documents, and working closely with various stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met with high-quality deliverables. Profile: The candidate should have a general knowledge of high-speed rail project development, especially in civil works design phases, and coordinate with systems such as track, power supply, signaling, and telecommunications.
