Job Title:
Design/Release Engineer-Body Structures Job Description: Be an integral part of an energetic team thats challenging the status quo of vehicle design. Responsible for the design and development of body system components and complete assemblies. Develop and implement functional objectives to meet project performance targets. Manage all aspects of body component development to meet project requirements including performance, cost, mass, timing, manufacturability, etc. Lead collaboration between internal/external teams and suppliers to meet all project requirements. What you bring to the team: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university. 8+ years of vehicle design experience in the areas of Body, Door, Platform. Excellent communication and team building skills. Ability to lead design teams through integration of related sub-systems into body structure. Broad knowledge of NHSTA/FMVSS requirements related to body structure. Ability and desire to work in a fun and fast-paced environment. Seniority Level
