Conductthorough analysis of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Collaborate with peers to create consistent processes and practices across the organization. Puttogether project teams and collaborates with IT to evaluateand implementnew technologies and digital tools to enhance process efficiency.
Project Management:
Leadand manageprocess improvement projects from conception to implementation. Ensureprojects are delivered on time, within scopeand budget, by increasing employee adoption and usage. Prepareand presentregular reports on process improvement projects and their impact on business performance. Defineand measuresuccess metrics and monitors change progress.
Change Management - Driving the People Side of the Change:
Communicateeffectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in and successful adoption of new processes. Helpto create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimizeresistance. Collaboratewith BWXT leadership, IT teams, and other key stakeholders to align process improvement initiatives with business objectives. Workwith site training departments to develop training materials and coordinate sessions to educate staff on new processes and digital tools. Evaluateand ensureuser readiness.
Minimum Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree and 6years of relevant experience inprocess improvement, project management, and change management OR
a high school diploma/GEDand 10years of relevant experience in process improvement, project management, and change management.
Willing to work full time inthe Lynchburg, VA site. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Innovative and strategic thinker. Strong leadership and team management skills. Adaptability and willingness to embrace change. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Must be a U.S. citizen only. No dual citizenship. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) clearance. Preferred Additional Qualifications: At least 2years of project management experience. Proven experience partnering with IT to leaddigital transformation projects. Proficient in data analysis and process mapping tools. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. Experience with Prosci ADKAR Model; Solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools. Active government clearance. Pay: $77,000- $116,000 The base salary range for this position in Virginia (US-VA) at the start of employment is expected to be between $77,000 and $116,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will, unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
