nBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks a Senior Design and Analysis Engineer (Electronic Sys Design & Analy) top join our F/A-18 Mission Systems team in Berkely, MO.
nThis position is for a level-4 integration engineer to lead in the requirements, development and test for integrating new capabilities for the F/A-18 aircraft as part of the Advanced Mission Systems organization.
nPosition Responsibilities:

Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.

Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.

Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.

Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.

Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

Makes recommendations for technology investments.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
nThis position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

(Level 4) 9+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor's or 7+ years of work related experience with a Master's or 4+ years of work related experience with a PhD

Experience with military avionics technology

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience in developing or integrating Mission Systems for military aircraft

Experience with electronic system design, code and test

Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases

Experience with Multi-Level Security (MLS) implementation

Experience using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) process

Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence

nTypical Education/Experience:
nSenior (Level 4)
nEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
