This position will include a $20K Sign On Bonus, if hired as an employee for Enlighten.
Anticipated Salary Range: $97,097.00 - $130,000.00. The salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities. When extending an offer, Enlighten considers various factors including the role's function, internal equity, and a candidate's education, experience, and skills. Enlighten is seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge in Linux systems administration, Big Data solutions, configuration management, automation, scripting, containers, and AWS. Responsibilities include implementing infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our services. The role is primarily on-site in Augusta, GA, with occasional travel within the U.S. and internationally. Essential Job Responsibilities Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS Support development and deployment of non-cloud (Edge) infrastructure of on-premise and portable equipment Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into infrastructure Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues Continuously improve processes and tools for high availability and performance Stay current with new technologies and industry trends Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Current TS/SCI security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required 5+ years in DevOps Engineering or Software Development with a Bachelor's degree in related field; or 3 years with a Master's; or 9 years relevant experience with a High School Diploma Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills Proficiency with configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) Experience with application and OS deployment, scaling, management Programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go Familiarity with Git and development tools Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Understanding of AGILE methodologies and software development tools Must have DoD 8140 / 8570 certifications (Security+, BDP System Admin) Willing to travel OCONUS and CONUS 10% Ability to work on-site in Augusta, GA, 5 days a week
Preferred Requirements
Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Hive, etc.) Experience with containers (EKS, Diode), CI/CD, Terraform
