Develop program logic for new applications. Analyze and modify logic in existing applications. Code, test, debug, and implement document and software applications. Analyze requirements, test and integrate application components. Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented. Test new software code. Produce software that delivers requested functionality by following the unified software development process. Convert detailed requirements and designs into computer language. Deliver quality software by modern modular programming techniques for implementation of customer needs. Perform software testing, correct program errors, and provide continuous application maintenance and enhancements. Serve as the interface with clinicians/staff and/or other customers to analyze workflow, gather requirements, problem-solve and discuss possible solutions. Serve as a resource person for and as a liaison to other departments in efforts to improve customer satisfaction. Confer with representatives of departments concerned with projects to resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls. Participate in meetings with clients and help them transition from a requirement to the successful implementation. Propose a viable design approach by analyzing the possible courses of action and associated impacts. Implement new technologies, designs, deployments, and testing methodologies to projects. Develop interfaces to access data from varying data systems across the institution. Provide direct technical support and second-level problem resolution assistance for production and process issues. Develop knowledge and professional skills through cross-training, literature and attendance at department meetings and vendor education. Develop training objectives. Prepare oral and written presentations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, software development, information technology machine learning, data science, health informatics, or a related quantitative field. 3 years of experience in application development, implementation, and maintenance of software including programming languages, version control, network drives, frameworks and libraries, building and testing tools, Integrated Development Environment (IDE's), servers, design and reporting, and automation. 3 years of experience in technologies, design, deployment, and testing methodologies of applications software including programming languages, version
