Facilitate the loan closing process by working with outside title companies to ensure complete and accurate closing packages, ensuring a smooth and timely closing experience. Complete the funding process by reviewing and approving all critical funding documents. Collaborate with the post-closing team to resolve document issues during loan onboarding for servicing. Requirements
Five or more years of experience in the mortgage industry Two or more years of recent experience in closing loans Thorough understanding of the loan process outside of closing Ability to attend quarterly in-person meetings in Chicago Proficient in TRID and Encompass Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Strong written and verbal communication skills Conventional loan experience required; FHA/VA experience desired Knowledge of affordable housing programs (e.g., Down Payment Assistance) Ability to handle approximately 30 closings per month Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods EOE AA - Devon Bank is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
