The Role
AspenTech is a fast-paced, growing high-technology company located in Medina, Minnesota. As a world leader in the Operations Technology (OT) field, AspenTechs Digital Grid Management team develops and supplies advanced energy management, optimization, and control software solutions to energy utility companies worldwide.
In this role, you will oversee project execution, ensure profitability, and maintain customer satisfaction. You will manage complex phases of large-scale projects. As a vital member of the Digital Grid Management business unit, your work will significantly impact the success, profitability, and customer satisfaction of project delivery.
Your Impact
- Develop and oversee project plans and schedules.
- Manage contract change processes as needed.
- Coordinate project implementation plans.
- Ensure projects are properly tested, approved, and documented.
- Set project strategies based on business unit priorities.
- Lead and coach assigned project team members.
- Manage budgets, timelines, priorities, and resources for projects.
What You'll Need
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Business, Finance/Accounting, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant project management experience.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Experience with highly technical and complex projects.
- Experience with PERT/CPM and Microsoft Project.
- International project management experience and understanding of diverse cultures and business transactions.
- Experience in the electrical utility industry and/or automation/SCADA projects.
- Engineering degree with experience in electrical utilities.

The salary range for this role is $104,400.00 - $130,500.00. This range reflects our current good-faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as experience and performance. The range may be adjusted in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, charitable giveback days, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement benefits for eligible employees.
