Base pay range
$20.00/hr - $25.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Iuvo Systems At Iuvo Systems we provide outsourced accounting, system configuration, new system implementation, consulting, training, and staff augmentation to Government Contractors. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to work in a flexible part-time capacity assisting our team and clients. Time Collection/Timesheets & Payroll Preparation and analysis of standard financials statements Excel to include creating/developing worksheets to present large amounts of financial data (i.e. budgets/forecasts, project reports), pivot tables, complex functions, data consolidation, charts/graphs, etc. Month/Year-end close, GL account reconciliations, including resolution of variances Budgeting, forecasting development and analysis/comparison to actuals. Revenue recognition on long-term contracts (government, construction or similar industries) Preferred Knowledge (or willing to learn): Quickbooks Desktop/Online, ADP Workforce, DelTek Costpoint, or Procas. PowerBI, ICAT, Cognos or similar reporting tools Cost Allocations, indirect rates & analysis Consolidations, Inter-company transactions Government Contracts: Cost Plus, T&M, Fixed Price contracts Conversion of data to or from QuickBooks Desktop. Skills: Accounting experience (minimum 3 years). Ability to manage time/tasks/deadlines and work cohesively with teammates and clients. Self-starter with willingness to ask questions. Attention to detail and focus on self-review to ensure overall accuracy of data/reports. Working knowledge of GAAP, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Federal Acquisition Guidelines (FAR). Ability to participate and have discussions with upper management. Can quickly navigate client situations and find solutions. Can easily adapt to multiple work environments with different personalities, becoming a trusted business adviser for Iuvo clients. Strong communication skills and keeping detailed notes for the client as well as for Iuvo. Education BS in accounting or equivalent industry experience. Advanced degrees and certificates a plus but not required. Location Remote, work from established home office Must have great internet and phone service Seniority level
