Overview: Correctional facility near Cantil, CA, is seeking a licensed mental health professional to serve as Mental Health Coordinator. This role provides essential clinical services, including assessments, treatment planning, and crisis response for incarcerated individuals. Ideal candidates are licensed and experienced in delivering care in structured, high-acuity environments. Key Responsibilities: Conduct mental health assessments and clinical interviews based on record reviews. Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans. Provide direct therapeutic services, including individual counseling and crisis intervention. Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with clinical and legal standards. Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions. Collaborate with internal teams to support treatment and rehabilitation. Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related clinical discipline. Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience, including at least two (2) in a comparable position. Active state licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW. Must be at least 21 years of age. Eligible to work in a secure, correctional environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in correctional, forensic, or institutional settings. Training in crisis intervention or de-escalation techniques. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required. Seniority level
