The Role We seek a Sr. Platform Marketing Manager to lead the adoption and growth of our developer platform and partner ecosystem among food & beverage sellers. You will act as a bridge between Product, Partnerships, Developer Relations, and GTM teams, shaping messaging and driving awareness, adoption, and value of our platform solutions. Key Responsibilities Drive go-to-market strategies for Square's platform products (APIs, SDKs, 3P integrations) tailored to food & beverage sellers. Create positioning and messaging that articulate the platform's value to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate with internal teams to identify value propositions and inform product roadmaps. Develop marketing plans to increase awareness and adoption, leveraging integration partners and third-party developers. Support sales and customer teams with collateral, insights, and training materials specific to the vertical. Conduct market research and customer interviews to understand pain points and opportunities. Coordinate with demand generation and content teams to produce campaigns, webinars, case studies, and solution pages. Monitor performance metrics to refine messaging and marketing efforts. Qualifications 8+ years in Platform or Partner Marketing. Ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling narratives for diverse audiences. Curiosity about APIs, developer tools, and technology's impact on small businesses, especially in food & beverage. Experience navigating product and partner ecosystems, balancing technical and business priorities. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills in fast-paced environments. Passion for helping restaurants succeed with scalable technology solutions. Data-driven with a bias for experimentation and continuous improvement. Experience in B2B product marketing, with exposure to developer marketing or verticalized platforms preferred. We value diversity and strive for an inclusive environment. Benefits & Compensation Our pay varies by location and market conditions. U.S. ranges are: Zone A: $180,000 — $270,000 USD Zone C: $158,400 — $237,600 USD Zone D: $149,400 — $224,200 USD Additional benefits include remote work, health insurance, flexible time off, retirement plans, and family support.
