Senior Director, Design & Engineering (Data Centers)
Industry leader in data center colocation and hyperscale, with nearly 100 locations globally, is seeking a Senior Director of Data Center Engineering and Design.
Compensation
Starting at $200k + 20% bonus (flexible depending on experience)
Location
Preference for Denver or Dallas
The role
Lead data center design and delivery both technically and strategically
Manage a team of engineering experts, including mechanical & electrical engineers
Oversee external engineering teams
Deliver systems such as cooling (liquid and air), power, UPS, switchgear, electrical systems
Develop templates and technical specifications for mechanical and electrical systems
Plan capacity upgrades and system enhancements strategically
Requirements
Electrical Engineering Degree
Experience managing engineering teams
Leadership experience in electrical engineering and/or MEP
Knowledge of data center design and electrical codes
Solid understanding of data centers, electrical and mechanical plants, cooling systems, etc.
Understanding of construction principles as they apply to data centers
