First Citizens Commercial Real Estate originates and underwrites senior secured real estate transactions, providing financing for single properties, property portfolios, and loan portfolios based on deep market expertise and industry relationships. Responsibilities Oversee timely completion of portfolio hygiene tasks, including annual reviews, credit risk ratings renewal, monitoring payment delinquencies, upcoming loan maturities, and financial reporting sign-offs. Lead the maintenance and enhancement of internal reporting used for daily management. Provide direction to the CRE Data Analyst and review work before reporting to management and external parties. Manage all external business unit reporting, including SNC, Capital Allocation, and HMDA reports. Oversee the CRE Delinquency Monitored Portfolio, including regrading and delinquency research. Assist with interactions with CRE offshore operations in India. Respond to internal and external audit inquiries and manage Management Action Plans. Participate in the transition of loans from underwriting to portfolio management, including review of credit files. Assist with the integration of loans from bank mergers. Organize CRE education sessions and maintain educational materials. Lead process improvement projects, including new software tools. Lead or participate in ad hoc projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of banking experience in portfolio management operations, or a High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of banking experience. Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate Lending. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, think critically, exercise sound judgment, communicate effectively, and manage time successfully. Familiarity with banking systems such as Salesforce, nCino, Moody’s Credit Lens. Experience with regulatory reporting and audit processes. For New York, the salary range is generally $185,000-$200,000, with actual pay based on skills and experience. Total compensation may include bonuses and benefits. More details at .
