As the Director, Operations and Distribution, Non Compounded Products, you will oversee the entire operations of Wedgewood’s Non Compounding business unit, as well as create standardization, efficiency and productivity within the distribution network of all Wedgewood sites. Within the Non Compounded Products business unit, you will work closely with our manufacturers, distributors and our warehouses to manage flow of non compounded products to our customers. You will work closely with the site operations, logistics, and inventory management teams to ensure that our non compounded products are delivered efficiently, accurately, and on time. This business unit is growing rapidly and requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in supply chain management, vendor relations, and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an innovative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement, driving results for our customers while strategically scaling our distribution and logistics operations. When and Where will you work? This position will be based out of our Swedesboro, NJ facility. There will be 25% travel within the US. What you’ll do: Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control within the Non Compounded Products business unit Align planning and logistics objectives with broader company goals and business strategy. Collaborate with the Commercial and Supply Chain teams to conduct market analysis and demand forecasting to anticipate future needs and adjust strategies accordingly. Streamline operations based on LEAN principles. Lead the execution of all strategies including financial analysis of distribution centers, third party management, standardized tools and reporting, and implementation of continuous improvement and productivity initiatives. Leadership and Operational Oversight Overall responsibility for delivery of key performance indicators across the Non compounded warehouse network including safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and service Working with site operational teams, implement best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure that non compounded product operations meet quality standards, performance metrics, and compliance requirements. Lead a cross functional team of operations and commercial leaders, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and customer service. Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching and development opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, operations and sales, to ensure seamless execution. Manage the distribution strategies and systems that support all operations, ensuring the highest, most effective levels of service to the customer. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers. Use key metrics to ensure high levels of customer service by partners and third party logistics teams. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure optimal terms and performance. Address and resolve any issues related to supplier performance, delivery, or quality. Budget And Financial Management Develop and manage budgets for planning and logistics activities, ensuring financial targets are met. Work with site warehouse / dispensing teams and 3 rd party logistics to execute within proposed budgets and goals. Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement financial controls. Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and business cases to senior leadership. Technology And Innovation Leverage technology and data analytics to drive decision-making and improve supply chain efficiency. Stay current with industry trends and innovations, incorporating new technologies and methodologies as appropriate. Oversee the implementation of new systems or tools to enhance planning and logistics operations. Compliance And Risk Management Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. Collaborate with safety team to enforce safety protocols and procedures to protect employees. Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, operational inefficiencies, or other factors. Who you are: Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution logistics. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Familiarity with ERP and warehouse management systems (NetSuite and Pharmetika) What you’ve done: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Experience in a regulated environment, cGMP or compliance with board of pharmacy requirements a plus.
