About the Role
Envoy is revolutionizing workplace experience technology, and we're seeking a Head of Analytics to drive our next phase of growth. You’ll lead a team of data experts to deliver actionable insights and shape Envoy’s strategy, partnering with engineering, product, go-to-market, and finance to drive Envoy’s business forward by transforming, analyzing and developing insights from data. Your team will work with stakeholders to understand and turbo-charge drivers of business performance and develop insights from product usage to inform what we build.
Reporting to the CFO, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to help evolve the role that data plays within each of them. You will make data infrastructure and engineering investments to meet the analytics needs of our growing company, and have a curiosity and passion for technology.
You will be accountable for building, growing, and mentoring a world-class team of analysts and data scientists who are obsessed with data accuracy and insights to help Envoy transform modern workplaces.
This is a hybrid position that requires 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ.
You will
Build, lead and mentor a high-performing team of data analysts, analytics engineers, and data scientists
Drive the company’s data culture, ensuring that data is at the core of decision-making processes across all departments—from product development to sales and marketing strategies
Provide actionable, data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to inform key business decisions
Set the vision for the data strategy and architecture, scaling our infrastructure to support future growth.
Initiate innovative efforts to advance our tools, systems, and processes. Our current tech stack includes Redshift, Python, Airflow, dbt, and Looker
Collaborate across product and GTM teams (sales, marketing, customer success) to drive strategic decision making with data and insights
Guide the evolution of our data models and schemas based on changing business and engineering needs
Develop and own instrumentation plans across all our products and apps
Develop a framework for experimentation in our product and across our marketing site
Build and foster a talent pipeline, identifying future data leaders within your team and providing the support and mentorship needed to grow them into the next generation of analytics leaders
You have
Minimum 8 years experience working in business intelligence, analytics, data engineering, or a similar role
Minimum 4 years of experience directly leading analytics teams
Strong experience in data pipelines, ETL design (both implementation and maintenance), data warehousing, and experimentation platforms
Experience and comfort with Redshift, DBT & Looker
Mastery of Python and SQL
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders in engineering, data science, and product
Expertise in designing and communicating dashboards and reports with a high bar for quality
Experience working directly and communicating insights to C-level / executive stakeholders

Compensation description
Envoy's compensation package includes market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, and great benefits. If you are located in San Francisco Bay Area , our expected cash compensation for this role is $232,900 - $270,000 (Annually).Final offers may vary within the range provided based on experience, expertise, and other factors.
