Our client is a major player in the retail industry. With numerous locations and a significant number of sales, they aim to transform the industry through innovation and strong leadership. They are looking for a Director of DevOps who will be responsible for overseeing the DevOps team and driving the implementation of best practices in continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure management. This is a hybrid position based in Westchester County, NY.
Starting at $170,000/year.
Director of DevOps's Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead and manage the DevOps team, providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Ensure efficient and scalable deployment processes using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud resource automation tools such as ARM Templates and CloudFormation.
• Manage and optimize API management tools, specifically Azure APIM.
• Coordinate with enterprise on-premises infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and operations.

Director of DevOps's Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• AWS: Proficiency in ECS, EC2, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch.
• Azure: Proficiency in Service Fabric, App Services, SQL, PaaS.
• Strong background in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with API management tools (e.g., Azure APIM) and enterprise on-premises infrastructure.
