Ovid Healthcare Center has an exceptional opportunity for a Director of Nursing (DON). As the DON, you will plan, coordinate, and manage the nursing department, overseeing nursing care and services provided to residents. You will supervise registered nurses, licensed vocational/practical nurses, and STNA/CNAs. Schedule and perform resident rounds to monitor and evaluate nursing care quality. Ensure proper charting, documentation, medication, and treatment records. Recommend staffing levels to the administrator. Participate in budgeting for nursing supplies, equipment, and staffing. Stay updated on managed care, Medicare, Medicaid regulations, and reimbursement systems. Engage in the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement program and implement necessary improvements. Education and Experience
RN license in the state. Management or supervisory experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric nursing. Certificates and Licenses
