At Databricks, we aim to empower customers to solve complex data problems using our Data Intelligence Platform. As a Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA), you will collaborate with sales and engineering teams to promote platform adoption and success among our customers. Your role involves guiding customers post-sale, ensuring successful deployment of workloads, and maximizing platform value.
This hybrid role combines technical expertise with commercial strategy. You will drive growth by building relationships, orchestrating teams, and developing strategic plans, while also serving as the technical lead across Databricks products. You will report to a DSA Manager within the Field Engineering organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer use case demands and develop account strategies.
- Lead technical account strategies and execution for strategic accounts.
- Act as the technical leader for specific use cases, ensuring onboarding, enablement, and successful production deployment.
- Handle technical issues and coordinate with support and professional services.
- Create and execute plans to accelerate use case deployment and product adoption.
- Coordinate with product and engineering teams for new features and upgrades.
- Develop comprehensive execution plans covering all customer-facing technical activities.
- Provide KPI updates on customer health, product adoption, and usage to leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Data & AI technical project delivery or related roles.
- Programming skills in Python, SQL, or Scala.
- Experience in pre-sales, technical architecture, or customer success roles.
- Knowledge of distributed data systems and business value attribution.
- Technical program or project management experience.
- Proven ability to resolve complex escalations with senior executives.
- Experience in strategic workshops, roadmaps, and managing complex projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Compensation
Pay range: $161,300—$247,300 USD (Zone 2). Compensation includes base salary, bonuses, equity, and benefits, depending on location and experience.
