They analyze requests to determine the effect on the existing system and the time required to complete the request, and they develop the requested application. Measures of success: Successfully develops requested ERP applications using efficient programming code that is reliable and sustainable Timely completion of assigned tasks Effectively documents all completed development activities Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Analyzes ERP programming requests and writes programs following best Thoroughly tests results of the program for accuracy prior to releasing them to the production user environment. Documents and communicates business requirements, systems design, and implementation plans. Implements programs and follows up with end users to ensure that requirements have been met. Attains feedback from users, collaborates with others in the IT department, and studies system reports to discover issues and get suggestions about improvements for applications. Analyzes the functionality of software applications and recommends improvements. Works closely with other IT members and end users during ERP upgrades Troubleshoots technical and functional problems, bugs, and issues related to implementation and maintenance of the client ERP suite, as well as the related customizations and interfaces. Remains current with new programming releases and recommends upgrades as needed to stay current with Maintains confidentiality of all business. Maintains good communication skills with internal and external customers. Performs other duties as required or directed. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Application Development or related field 5+ years of experience in an ERP systems support/programmer/analyst role, involving analyzing requests, writing programs, testing, and implementing Broad knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems and technologies Strong skills in SQL Server 2012 and higher, Visual Studio, and C# Possess a high level of technical expertise and clear insights into general business practices Proficiency in working with system users to analyze existing system problems and establish corrective actions required to resolve the problems Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Travel is optional and limited to professional conferences and other company offices if needed Preferred: This position works primarily in an office environment using computers and technology. Verbal and auditory capability are required. Occasional exposure in production plant where large equipment and noise are prevalent. Safety gear is required in these areas. This position may work from home up to 2X/week if performance is in good standing.
