Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to
backfill an existing contract role
supporting anti-money laundering (AML) systems. This position focuses on creating new features, providing production support, and delivering high-quality data and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL Server (2019), SSIS, SSRS, ETL development, and .NET APIs, along with experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Primary Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust EDD/CDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) and AML-related applications using .NET, SQL Server (2019), SSIS, SSRS, and related frameworks. Build and enhance .NET APIs to integrate with AML systems and related platforms. Create ETL processes and develop SSIS/SSRS reports to meet business requirements. Provide production support, troubleshoot system/application issues, and deliver timely resolutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Monitor and test system performance, identifying opportunities for optimization. Participate in all phases of the SDLC, from design through deployment and support. Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and changes. Mentor and assist junior developers as needed. Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of software development experience
with expertise in SQL Server (2019), SSIS, SSRS, and .NET. Proven ability to create and maintain complex stored procedures and ETL workflows. Experience with AML/EDD/CDD or other financial compliance systems. Strong knowledge of .NET APIs and service-oriented architecture. Hands-on experience with data warehousing, reporting solutions, and production support. Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with code optimization, software debugging, and performance tuning. Experience with modern version control (GitHub) and CI/CD processes.
