Texas This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive business intelligence solutions using Power BI, including data modeling, data integration, security measures, and visualization creation. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective dashboards and reports within Power BI. Responsibilities include developing and updating BI reports, communicating actionable insights, managing data, evaluating results, and using visualization tools, DAX queries, charts, and relationships. The role requires understanding business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications, using independence and judgment to solve data issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Study, analyze, and understand business requirements in the context of business intelligence. Design and map data models to convert raw data into meaningful insights. Utilize Power BI to build interactive dashboards and reports. Identify key performance indicators aligned with objectives. Analyze data to support better decision-making. Translate business requirements into technical documentation. Build multi-dimensional data models. Develop comprehensive data documentation about algorithms, parameters, and models. Perform detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI scripts. Run DAX queries and functions within Power BI. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 8+ years of experience with Business Analytics tools, developing reports and dashboards. 5+ years of experience with Power BI, including M Query, DAX, Data Modeling, RLS. Back-end data integration and architecture, including dimensional data modeling, database design, data warehousing, ETL development, and performance tuning. Hands-on experience with SQL. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Experience working in Agile environments, using tools like Jira. Good communication skills to translate business requirements into dashboards and reports.
