Position Overview: Mechanical Assembler - Power Equipment
We are seeking Mechanical Assemblers to join a growing team that builds high-performance power distribution and monitoring systems. In this hands-on role, you'll be assembling large electrical cabinets used by top-tier companies and organizations. Ideal candidates have a knack for working with their hands and following detailed instructions.
Responsibilities:
Assemble metal cabinet frames and components using hand tools. Secure doors, shelves, and panels using bolts, nuts, and rivets. Follow written assembly instructions and interpret basic technical drawings. Stand, bend, reach, and occasionally climb ladders to complete tasks. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Requirements:
Mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools (similar to DIY or car work). Ability to follow directions and diagrams with attention to detail. Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift and perform physical tasks. Steel-toe boots required; company provides shirts after hire. Must be reliable and team-oriented. Schedule & Compensation:
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM Pay: $20+/hour, depending on experience Overtime available but not mandatory Why Join Us?
